Profile Radiography Testing Using Computerized radiography and phosphorous plates is developed for detecting metal loss in steel pipe walls for small pores and insulated pipes.

4- Eddy Current Testing (ET)

Eddy Current is a cost-effective technique to inspect metals for surface cracks, pitting, thickness loss, and other discontinuities. 
Key features include:

  • Ability to inspect difficult to access locations
  • Ability to inspect over paints and coatings.
  • Preferred technique for inspection of aircraft skins and engine components
